The Lynden Door Family of Companies is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dedicated accounting team. This role is ideal for individuals who are at the beginning of their accounting careers or recent graduates eager to gain valuable industry experience within a supportive and values-driven organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate and sustain daily and monthly statistical reports
  • Prepare and record journal entries
  • Compile financial statements
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end documentation
  • Develop management reports along with supporting analyses
  • Engage in financial and capital budgeting activities
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analytical tasks
  • Execute bank reconciliations
  • Manage monthly bank collateral reporting
  • Oversee fixed asset and depreciation schedules
  • Handle state and regulatory tax and financial reporting
  • Review accounts payable
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Support problem-solving for inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as needed
  • Exemplary moral integrity
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively amidst interruptions
  • Collaborative team player
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a business-related field, preferably in accounting.
