Key Responsibilities
  • Understand project requirements and identify key variables for cost estimates
  • Gather information from various locations and research labor costs, materials, production times, etc.
  • Utilize software for data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Review offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendors and perform risk analysis
  • Create and submit estimate reports to relevant parties
  • Build relationships with key vendors and provide planning consultation
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Quickbid and Onscreen Take Off
  • Proven experience as an estimator or in a similar position
  • Familiarity with financial and project management principles
  • In-depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods
  • Strong math and IT abilities with an analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
