Key Responsibilities:

The main duty of a Bartender is to craft an experience that invites guests to return to Hawkers Asian Street Fare. This role requires delivering friendly and attentive service to ensure an outstanding beverage experience for all patrons. The Bartender's goal is to provide guests with an authentic experience that encourages repeat visits.

Essential Duties:
  • Complete all necessary training courses and assessments, along with ongoing training.
  • Warmly greet guests upon their arrival and respond promptly to their needs.
  • Share the story of Hawkers and articulate the service methodology.
  • Verify guest IDs to comply with alcohol service regulations.
  • Prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests and the bar.
  • Restock bar supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.
  • Process payments accurately and ensure the security of guest information.
  • Take food and To-Go orders as required.
  • Assess guest preferences and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Perform assigned side work at the beginning, during, and end of each shift.
  • Support fellow team members whenever possible.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain Alcohol Serving Certification and adhere to OSHA and HACCP standards.
  • Must be 18-21 years of age in accordance with local/state Bartending laws.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach overhead.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
Compensation:

$10/hr + Tips
