Crisis Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Crisis Recovery Specialist to join our Mobile Crisis Response Team. As a Crisis Recovery Specialist, you will work collaboratively with our team to respond to mental health crises in adults and children within St. Clair County.
Key Responsibilities- Establish rapport with clients in crisis and provide support and resources to assist them in becoming involved in their own mental health and/or substance abuse recovery process.
- Communicate effectively within a team environment to meet the needs of those experiencing behavioral health crises.
- Maintain compliance with COA and other regulatory agency requirements.
- Ensure that all documentation is completed timely and accurately.
- Must have personal lived experience.
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher education.
- Have or obtain Certified Recovery Support Specialist status within one year of hire.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must possess and maintain proof of automobile insurance.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must own a properly insured, reliable vehicle.
- Must live in St. Clair County IL.
As a Crisis Recovery Specialist, you will be expected to align your performance with our overarching philosophy of CARE. This includes completing the CARE training with satisfactory participation and putting that training into practice in your everyday work. Additionally, you will be required to pass TCI training with a satisfactory grade in written and/or physical testing.
