About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our restaurant team at Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service, and safety in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and service, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient food delivery, within budget and compliant with all statutory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen performance, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service delivery, including communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a safe and clean working environment.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a proven track record in kitchen management. You will have:

Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a strong focus on food quality, safety, and service.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.Strong commercial awareness and understanding of budgets, profitability, and menu planning.Ability to identify training needs and develop strategies to improve kitchen performance.Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to changing priorities and workload.
