Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join our team at Riverside Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine studies, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine studies, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Produce high-quality images following appropriate protocols and procedures
  • Provide clinical documentation per scope of practice
  • Follow ALARA principles to ensure radiation safety
  • Prepare equipment, instrumentation, and departmental supplies required to support quality patient care
  • Understand and adhere to all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards
  • Coordinate patient care and perform effective assessment, actions, and documentation
  • Maintain records of tests conducted, test results, and disposition of isotopes and body products containing isotopes
  • Order, prepare, calibrate, store, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for routine, on-call, and therapeutic procedures
  • Perform quality control on various instruments
Requirements:
  • Nuclear Medicine experience (preferred)
  • Radiologic Technologists - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear Medicine (N) certification or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technician (CNMT) certification
  • CPR/BLS certification
