Operating Room Nurse Full Time

Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star is seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, including medication administration and wound care.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential risks and near misses.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical care.

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Minimum two years previous OR experience.
- Current Texas license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current in CPR, ACLS and PALS.
- Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
- Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse.
