Job Description:

Savage is seeking a skilled and experienced CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination and transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers
Requirements:
  • Current CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
  • Two years of experience as a CDL Driver
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
Physical Requirements:
  • Climb into and out of the cab multiple times per shift
  • Climb a ladder and steps 10 or more times a day
  • Lift 50 or more pounds daily while climbing steps
  • Drive and work in adverse weather conditions
