The role of the Advisory Services Consultant is integral to the Optum Advisory - Enterprise Delivery Services consulting practice. This practice is a swiftly expanding sector that caters to clients throughout the healthcare landscape. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify challenges, set objectives, formulate recommendations, and implement solutions for clients.
- Perform project management tasks, including generating status reports, work plans, and presentations for client leadership.
- Track and document project milestones and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop, communicate, and execute project risk and issue management plans and strategies.
- Drive results without direct authority, engaging team members in a cross-functional setting.
- Conduct research studies that may involve collecting, analyzing, trending, and presenting data and recommendations to management.
- Define, develop, and document business requirements to ensure client needs are accurately captured and addressed.
- Work closely with Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts, Architects, Business Partners, and other Technology teams to ensure complete understanding of requirements and design.
- Assist in quality assurance and user acceptance testing by creating test scripts, executing test cases, and documenting defects.
- Effectively build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.
- Provide clear communications (both oral and written) and share knowledge at all organizational levels.

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in healthcare IT.
- 3+ years of experience in any of the following areas: Project/Program Management, Product Management, Process Improvement, Business Analysis, or Data Analytics.
- 1+ years of experience in creating project deliverables and managing complex work-streams in a client-facing capacity.
- 1+ years of experience in an Agile environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile/Scrum certification.
- Experience in a professional consulting organization or in a healthcare leadership role.
- Familiarity with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in digital health or consumer digital products or services.
- Experience in a large matrixed environment.
- Ability to thrive in a highly technical, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.

Compensation: The salary range for this role is competitive and based on various factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
