ResponsibilitiesThe Behavioral Health Professional will work as part of a multidisciplinary team with all other disciplines on the Behavioral Health Unit. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing crisis stabilization, completing intakes and ongoing evaluations, and providing consultation to in-house and community services.
- Participating in monthly behavioral health calls and working collaboratively with the medical team to determine overall treatment for each individual.
- Risk assessing inmates, coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams, and discharging planning.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
- A Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field.
- Minimum one year of employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent.
- A satisfactory background investigation report.
