Job Overview

Adecco Healthcare is seeking a Residential Group Home RN to support our client's mission in providing exceptional care. This position is based in a group home environment and offers a part-time, permanent role.

Compensation

The pay rate for this position ranges from $30.00 to $33.50 per hour.

Work Schedule
  • Part-Time (20 hours per week)
  • Mandatory Mondays: 8 AM - 3 PM or 4 PM
  • Flexible scheduling available for other days
  • Weekends optional
  • On-call duties will be part of a rotating schedule after initial months
Key Responsibilities

The RN will:

  • Engage regularly with residents to foster relationships and monitor health conditions.
  • Utilize PrecisionCare software for accurate documentation, including health records and nursing service plans.
  • Coordinate medical services and administer prescribed medications while adhering to OPWDD regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to residential staff and maintain communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in safety meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions.
  • Manage on-call responsibilities and assist in developing medical protocols.
Qualifications
  • Valid RN license in New York State.
  • At least six months of professional nursing experience.
  • Experience in caring for individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
  • Current NY State Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Certifications & Training

While not mandatory, the following certifications are advantageous:

  • NYS Medication Administration and OPWDD Nursing Certification
  • SCIPr
  • Other OPWDD mandated training
