COIT Cleaning & Restoration Services is seeking a meticulous and motivated individual to fill the role of a Fleet Mechanic. This position involves working within the company’s garage, focusing on the maintenance and repair of a fleet comprising 43 vehicles and various small engine cleaning units utilized for services such as Carpet, Tile and Grout, and Air Duct cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance on vehicles and mechanical components as per established requirements. Conduct inspections on machines, engines, and transmissions, executing diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues and carrying out minor repairs as necessary.
- Service vehicles according to a preventive maintenance schedule, which includes rotating and balancing tires, changing oil and filters, lubricating vehicle parts, inspecting and replacing hoses, belts, mirrors, and lamps, and maintaining fluid levels.
- Keep accurate and updated records of all preventive maintenance performed.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment, evaluating the condition of systems and accessories, and providing light service as required.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on plant equipment according to established schedules, troubleshooting mechanical issues and learning to identify and resolve them.
- Assist on-road personnel during breakdowns.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation and policies to ensure the safe operation of vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate reliability, customer-oriented mindset, and a willingness to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Flexibility in working hours is essential.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with a positive attitude is required.
- Excellent communication, listening, and mathematical skills are necessary.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve collective goals.
- Physical capability to lift 50 lbs and perform tasks involving sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- A valid Driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record is mandatory. Background checks and drug screening will be conducted.
