Position Overview: As a Banker III, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing client transactions in line with established policies and procedures. You will also refer Bank products and services and connect clients with other Bank specialists when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing while delivering an exceptional client experience and representing the Bank professionally.
- Support clients in reaching their financial objectives by actively promoting Bank products and services, and referring clients to other specialists as needed. Lead in sales, operations, and client service.
- Assist in branch operations and contribute to the training, mentoring, and coaching of the teller team.
- Collaborate effectively as a team member on all assignments, delivering quality work within deadlines, with or without direct supervision.
- Maintain a high level of personal reliability and punctuality.
- Engage in selling Bank products and services through in-person and telephone interactions, meeting minimum referral standards set by management. May involve opening new accounts following the Bank's sales process.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, security protocols, and government regulations.
Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of teller experience, including sales experience with established goals, is required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in PC applications, particularly Windows-based software and calculators.
- Fundamental math, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; proper phone and email etiquette is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with excellent customer service capabilities.
- Ability to work during branch hours.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Targeted starting compensation range is based on location and experience.
- Incentive and commission compensation may be available for eligible roles.
- Comprehensive employee benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, short-term disability, and life insurance.
- Paid vacation, sick leave, personal days, volunteer time, and 11 company-paid holidays.
- 401(k) plan with up to 4% match and immediate vesting.
- Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 annually (subject to minimum service requirements).
