About Donabe at the W Scottsdale

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host to join our team at Donabe, a unique Japanese Steakhouse experience located in the W Hotel in Scottsdale. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements with efficiency and accuracy
  • Assist with phone calls, voicemails, and event inquiries, providing clear and concise information
  • Work closely with the service team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about our menu, policies, and procedures
  • Be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Adhere to high standards of professionalism, including attire and behavior
Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a service-oriented or administrative position in a customer-facing environment
  • Proven experience with OpenTable and ability to manage reservations and waitlists
  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate, college degree
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure
  • Punctual, regular, and reliable attendance
