We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Nurse Residency Program. As a new graduate nurse, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, working collaboratively with a registered nurse preceptor.
- Assist with patient care, including observation and documentation of patient healthcare needs, and communication of pertinent information to the registered nurse and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicating and recording changes in patient conditions as appropriate.
- Actively engage and participate in transition to practice programs to develop clinical thinking and enhanced clinical judgment.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire required.
