Nurse Residency Program

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Providence in Waco, Texas. As a member of our nursing team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assist with patient care, including observation and documentation of patient healthcare needs, and communication of pertinent information to the registered nurse and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Assist with documentation and implementation of physician and nursing orders under the direction of the registered nurse preceptor.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate, monitor, and record changes in patient conditions as appropriate.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire required.
