Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Interventionist to join our team at FullBloom. As an Academic Interventionist, you will play a critical role in providing targeted support to students who require additional academic assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver designated instructional models and strategies in reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of Company materials and educational strategies.
  • Internalize and deliver individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans to elementary and/or secondary aged students on school campus.
  • Work with students on math and/or reading in a small-group setting, typically no more than 6 students in the group. Students are provided Tier 2 academic intervention supports.
  • Analyze and use student data to inform instruction.
  • Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from the classroom.
  • Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
  • Attend and document conferences/meetings/trainings with Company Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
  • Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
Requirements
  • Currently resides on the Island of Oahu.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education required. Teacher's license highly preferred.
  • Experience working directly with children who are attending primary and/or secondary school.
  • Experience using and following scripted curriculum and can demonstrate ability to differentiate and scaffold instruction for students.
  • Using student data to inform instruction.
  • Experience teaching Math and Reading to students in a grades K-12 setting/school campus.
  • Classroom/small setting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Must understand that all children can learn.
  • Must demonstrate positive and enthusiastic attitude towards internal and external customers.
  • Must be flexible with changes that improve student outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
