Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our heavy equipment fleet, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency in our sawmill and other facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and other machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
