Job Title: Personal Care Assistant Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistant Specialist to join our team at Paramount Home Care Services, LLC. As a PCA Specialist, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Help clients with mobility, including transfers and walking, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Administer medication reminders according to agency care plan protocols.
  • Document services provided and communicate changes in the client's condition to the supervisor.
  • Report any changes in health status or unusual behaviors to appropriate staff.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of agency-specific training program.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
