Laboratory Scientist Position

Location: Westminster, CO

Key Responsibilities:

· Precise management and analysis of oil, gas, and water samples

· Support in the daily functioning of laboratory equipment

· Ensure quality assurance of both data and operational processes

· Regularly monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and sampling materials

· Generate client reports for the dissemination of laboratory findings

· Assemble sampling kits for field teams and coordinate shipping of equipment

· Maintain professional interactions with clients

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Capability to execute tasks in an organized and systematic manner

· Attention to detail when working with data

· Ability to communicate task progress, requirements, and challenges to colleagues

· Timely and professional client interaction

· Flexibility and willingness to collaborate in a small team environment

· Strong collaborative skills

· Physical ability to lift items weighing up to 25lbs

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

· Background in chemistry, geology, or petroleum sciences

· Exceptional organizational abilities

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Professional and courteous interaction with industry clients

· Eligibility to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications:

· Prior laboratory experience

· Understanding of petroleum geology and geochemistry

· Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, Visual Basic, SQL
