Job Overview

The Addison Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Activity Coordinator to manage and coordinate events for members, oversee activity leaders and aides in senior programs, and handle administrative tasks.

As a Senior Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for scheduling, planning, and participating in events, supervising activity leaders and aides, coordinating new hires, managing travel arrangements, and preparing correspondence and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and plan events for members, ensuring seamless execution and attendee satisfaction.
  • Supervise and support activity leaders and aides, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including setting up office space, equipment, and building access.
  • Arrange travel arrangements and conference reservations, ensuring timely and efficient coordination.
  • Prepare and distribute important documents, such as memos and event information, to clients and partners.
  • Process and manage project documents, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Deliver documents to clients and partners, ensuring timely and secure transportation.
  • Assist with expense report preparation and meeting scheduling, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
  • Monitor and order office supplies, maintaining a well-stocked and organized workspace.
  • Support courier services, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of packages and documents.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a senior care or family care environment.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong proofreading, formatting, and grammar skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, or Dance Therapy preferred, but not required.
