Job Summary

The Performance Improvement Burn RN Coordinator PRN is a key member of the TriStar Skyline Medical Center team, responsible for implementing formal and informal education programs to improve patient care and outcomes. This role requires a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Collaborate with the Burn Medical Director and multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and develop strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop reports to present to stakeholders
  • Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of care plans for hospitalized burn patients
  • Assist in the management of the American Burn Association (ABA) Burn Registry and other reporting requirements
Requirements
  • Three to five years of nursing experience in a critical care or burn setting
  • Valid Tennessee nursing license (or eligible)
  • BLS certification required
  • ABLS certification required within one year of hire
  • Preferred certifications: CCRN, TNCC
Education
  • Associate's degree required
  • Bachelor's degree, BSN preferred
