**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team at the Penitentiary of NM in Santa Fe. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of $51,000 per year, plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

**Responsibilities**

  • Assist in the delivery of patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Direct and guide patient teaching activities under the clinical guidance of Registered Nurses.
  • Assist in assessing the physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients in the health care unit and housing units.
  • Implement individual treatment programs, utilizing available resources and consulting with registered nurses, physicians, and correctional officers.
  • Administer medications and interventions in accordance with provider instructions.

**Requirements**

  • Current, unrestricted New Mexico Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience; correctional experience preferred.
