Position Overview
The Contents and Cleaning Specialist is tasked with overseeing and documenting all facets of content management and processing within restoration projects. This role encompasses the pack-out phase, cleaning of items, and the reinstallation of contents.
Key Responsibilities
*Conduct inventory-related tasks for both commercial and residential projects.
*Maintain thorough documentation of all items within the premises.
*Manage contents through the moving, cleaning, or deodorizing processes.
*Record all non-salvageable items within the commercial project.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Candidates must demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to effectively execute the primary responsibilities outlined above. Key qualifications may include:
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing. Multilingual skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Attention to detail regarding documentation of all items.
- Intermediate organizational capabilities.
- Prior experience in cleaning or restoration is preferred.
- Must obtain OSHA 30-Hour General Industry training certification.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Capability to climb ladders, work at elevated heights, and navigate confined spaces (e.g., attics, crawl spaces).
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
- Comfortable working with cleaning agents and chemicals.
*Fast-paced and high-pressure setting.
*Shift hours may vary based on project size and scope, typically consisting of eight (8) to ten (10) hour shifts.
*Willingness to travel locally as needed.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
