We are seeking a highly motivated and fashion-conscious individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with our customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized service to customers, offering styling advice and product recommendations to meet their needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a positive and memorable shopping experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on fashion trends and product knowledge, using this expertise to create outfits and suggest items to match customer needs.
  • Meet and exceed sales and service metrics, including clientelling, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.
  • Participate in learning opportunities, accept direction, coaching, and feedback to maximize individual performance.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate selling competence, styling expertise, and a love of fashion.
  • Driven to create, build, and cultivate relationships.
  • Possess a strong ambition and passion for achieving goals, both as an individual and as a member of the store team.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills and a high level of integrity.
  • Possess the technological competency to navigate a computer/iPad/handheld system.
  • Have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Able to work cooperatively in a diverse work environment.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders, moving around regularly, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Able to bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Have open availability of 15 to 20 hours per week.
