  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic imaging.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient-specific factors and treatment goals.
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiation Therapist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex patient data and develop effective treatment plans.
