The Fountainhead Group, Inc.

The Fountainhead Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operations Specialist to enhance our warehouse and manufacturing operations. Reporting directly to the facility manager, this role involves the safe loading and unloading of trucks, as well as the movement of raw and finished products throughout our facility using various types of lift equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

The following outlines typical daily tasks, though additional duties may be assigned by the facility manager.

  1. Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues to the facility manager.
  2. Operate lift equipment safely at all times.
  3. Utilize inventory management software on tablets or scanners for efficient inventory movement.
  4. Safely stack or place raw materials and finished goods in designated areas.
  5. Ensure that products for storage or transport are in sellable condition and properly secured.
  6. Label products accurately with shipping or storage tags.
  7. Timely load and unload trucks while adhering to safety protocols.
  8. Prepare products for shipping or quality control inspections.
  9. Maintain adequate stock levels for ongoing production needs.
  10. Keep the warehouse and equipment clean and organized daily.
  11. Assist with special projects as directed.
  12. Participate in annual inventory counts.
  13. Perform other warehouse tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 2 years of experience operating lift equipment in a warehouse environment.
  2. Proficiency in computer use; familiarity with warehouse tablets and scanners is advantageous.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  4. Physical capability to lift 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  5. Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail and safety, able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  6. Team-oriented, able to follow instructions from supervisors.
  7. Demonstrated strong attendance record.
