Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join their team in Jamestown, North Dakota.

This is a 13-week contract opportunity with a flexible 8-hour shift schedule.

The ideal candidate will have 18 months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Tech and be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT).

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
  • Set controls on CT equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast media as required.
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately.
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
  • Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
