Psychiatric Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services as a contractor, working under the supervision of OHI's Collaborating Physician.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, collaborating with the Nurse Practitioner, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of mental health conditions.
- Collaborating with the Nurse Practitioner to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A valid M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure to practice medicine in the jurisdiction where OHI operates.
- Current board certification in psychiatry from the ABPN.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric care, preferably in a similar setting.
The estimated salary for this position is $115,000 per year, based on location and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
