Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to enhance productivity.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, optimize preventive maintenance schedules, and maintain updated process parameters.
  • Identify and implement best practices while establishing standards based on available data and expertise.
  • Adhere to plant safety and environmental protocols, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Utilize various plant systems such as SAP, MES, and Tableau for operational efficiency.
  • Engage with the International Production Network and leverage resources from other Bosch facilities as necessary.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment-related electrical issues.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in manufacturing assembly or machining is preferred.
  • Mechatronics training is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, print-reading, and mechanics is essential.
  • Experience with electrical systems, including PLCs and drive systems, is necessary.
  • Ability to maintain and service production robotic systems is crucial.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery is beneficial.
  • Proficient in SAP work order and spare parts systems.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical instructions clearly.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) is required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and noisy environment.
  • Demonstrated self-initiative and teamwork capabilities.
  • Flexibility to work alternate shifts and adapt to changing conditions is necessary.

Specialized Knowledge

  • In-depth knowledge of Staubli and Omron robots, vision systems, and Trumpf lasers.
  • Experience with Rexroth Torque Systems and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Cognex and NeuroCheck Vision Systems.
  • Understanding of press/staking processes and heat treatment operations is a plus.
