We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Thin Film Process Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for applying materials characterization techniques to develop and improve thin film materials and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply materials characterization techniques such as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, secondary ion mass spectroscopy, resistance measurements, and ellipsometry to characterize materials and make recommendations on vectors to improve materials performance.
  • Collaborate with equipment engineers, manufacturing engineers, integration engineers, and others to share internal and proprietary knowledge.
  • Own the transfer of new films and technology developments to manufacturing sites.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of novel materials development and characterization, statistical process control, and electrical characterization of devices.
