We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cafe Server to join our team at Hilltop Ski Area. As a Cafe Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, taking and filling food and beverage orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

• Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all guests.
• Take and fill food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
• Upsell and suggestively sell food and beverage items to increase sales and revenue.
• Perform cash handling and operate a point of sale system accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

• Previous experience in a food and beverage service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
• Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to handle cash and operate a point of sale system accurately.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

The Cafe Server will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm. The role will require standing for long periods, lifting and carrying heavy objects, and working in a hot and humid environment. The Cafe Server will be required to wear a uniform and maintain a high level of personal hygiene and grooming standards.
