Job Summary

The CDC Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in the implementation of the Strategic Plan to Advance Racial Equity (SP-ARE). This is a unique opportunity to drive change and advance racial equity in public health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the implementation of the SP-ARE, ensuring timely and effective delivery of project objectives.
  • Support the development of the performance management system, establishing and updating standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate communication with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration across departments.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, tracking key milestones and adjusting project resources as needed.
  • Prepare briefing notes, reports, and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting project successes and challenges.
Requirements
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on racial equity and health equity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft 365 and experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a complex environment.
