Job DescriptionWe're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Bosch Power Tools. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our material handling and support equipment. Your expertise will keep our operations humming and help us deliver top-quality tools to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues, including motors, drives, belting, RF scan guns, and label machines.
- Install new equipment, including conveyors, stretch wrap machines, sorters, motors, drives, and belts.
- Earn certifications on scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts to ensure safe operation of all necessary equipment.
- Follow established procedures and escalation plans to ensure smooth processes.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) and enhance 5S standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to share equipment knowledge and experience.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years as an industrial maintenance mechanic/technician.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and math is essential. Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley) is a plus.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and basic computer skills are preferred.
