Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at HCA MidAmerica Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized imaging procedures using computerized tomography (CT) scans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and position patients on the CT table
  • Start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions
  • Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
  • BCLS required within 30 days of start date
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning
  • On-call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back
