Job Summary:

The Multimodal Technologist is responsible for performing and producing images for various imaging modalities, including CT, XR, and MRI. This role requires a strong understanding of imaging techniques and workflows, as well as the ability to operate equipment safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform imaging procedures for multiple modalities, including CT, XR, and MRI
  • Select appropriate imaging sequences and techniques based on patient needs
  • Operate equipment and accessories to minimize risk of patient and equipment harm
  • Provide radiation protection and other necessary safety measures
  • Obtain and verify patient clinical history and lab work
  • Use POC devices for lab work
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Medical Sonography
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • State licensure certification (if required by the state where the job is performed)
  • Registration with ARRT or RDMS or CNMT
  • Competency in 2 of the following modalities and certification within 12 months: Bone Densitometry, Breast Sonography, Radiologic Technology, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasonography, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Sonographer, Vascular Interventional Radiography, Mammography, Vascular Sonography, Registered Vascular Technologist
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment
  • EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience
  • Picture archiving communication system (PACS) experience
  • Radiology Information System (RIS) experience
  • IV Contrast Administration experience
