Position Summary

As a Culinary Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn and perfect our diverse menu, ensuring that your culinary creations are the reason guests return time and again. You will thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment, supported by a dedicated team, as we believe that teamwork is essential to our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold our brand standards with pride
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space
  • Prepare all necessary ingredients prior to busy service
  • Follow recipes accurately and cook to specifications

No prior experience is necessary; we are here to teach you everything you need to know. If you possess a willingness to learn and a passion for culinary excellence, we can guide you to become an integral part of our kitchen team.

You will engage in a full-time kitchen role under the mentorship of experienced chefs while receiving training. Not only will you work towards a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship, but you will also contribute to the seamless operation of our kitchens, ensuring that our guests enjoy exceptional quality.

Apprenticeship Details

  • Regular face-to-face and virtual catch-ups every 4-6 weeks
  • Combination of on-the-job and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars
  • Quarterly reviews with your mentor and trainer
  • Feedback sessions to track your progress
  • Opportunity to obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths (if needed)
  • 30 hours of paid work each week

At Notgoingtouni, you will be working towards a Hospitality Team Member Level 2 Apprenticeship over a period of 15 months.
