Responsibilities

As a property and casualty sales agent, your day will be filled with taking inbound calls from interested customers to gather information on their insurance needs. You will work with carriers to determine the best coverage and pricing for customers, present quotes, and complete follow-up work. You will also maintain activity notes, review calls and quotes with leadership, sharpen your skills with online training, and assist with customer service as needed.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need an active Property and Casualty license upon start date, an upbeat and positive attitude, a willingness to learn and adapt to new technology, and strong written and verbal communication skills. You should be able to handle a high volume of sales opportunities and make the most of each opportunity. You will also need to develop positive relationships with customers and teammates, and be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
