Position Overview:

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to our residents, ensuring they lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding personal care and daily assistance to residents.
  • Maintain effective communication with residents, team members, and families.
  • Implement nursing and medical protocols as needed.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene and grooming tasks.
  • Respond promptly to resident needs and requests.
  • Support residents in maintaining proper nutrition and document dietary intake.
  • Administer first aid when necessary and document medication reminders.
  • Foster a therapeutic environment for residents.
  • Encourage resident participation in various activities.
  • Assist with mobility and repositioning of residents as required.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, flexibility, compassion, and reliability. Previous experience in assisted living or memory care settings is advantageous, though all qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.

Essential Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • CPR certification is preferred; Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with colleagues, residents, and families.
