Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Communications and Marketing Photographer to join our team at the University of Nebraska. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality visual content that showcases the university's community, events, and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to create engaging visual content that aligns with the university's strategic plan and mission.
  • Develop and implement a photography strategy that showcases the university's diverse community and initiatives.
  • Work with colleagues to create visually appealing content for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, and print materials.
  • Provide photography services for university events, such as conferences, lectures, and performances.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of high-quality images that showcase the university's community and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, Photojournalism, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in photographing for higher education, journalism, or marketing employers.
  • Valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pre-Placement Driving Record Review Required.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
  • Criminal History Background Check Required.
