Position Overview:

USA Clinics Group is in search of a dedicated and knowledgeable Legal Counsel to enhance our legal department. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering legal insights and assistance to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate a diverse range of agreements, such as employment contracts for physicians, vendor agreements, leasing contracts, and service contracts.

Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory standards.
Recognize and alleviate legal risks tied to contractual obligations.

Compliance Oversight:

Remain informed about healthcare legislation and regulations to guarantee compliance with relevant laws.

Advise on compliance matters and formulate policies and procedures to uphold legal and regulatory standards.
Assist with necessary regulatory submissions.

Litigation Management:

Oversee and manage litigation issues, including addressing subpoenas and other legal requests.

Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.
Conduct legal research and assessments to support litigation strategies.

Corporate Governance Support:

Assist with matters related to corporate governance, including board meetings and adherence to corporate formalities.

Help in drafting corporate policies and procedures.

General Legal Assistance:

Support legal research and analysis on various legal topics.

Provide legal counsel and support to internal stakeholders.
Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law institution, required.
  • Active bar membership in good standing, required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of legal practice experience, particularly in healthcare or corporate law, preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Experience in contract review and negotiation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Attention to detail and capacity to work under pressure.
