The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Pasco Construction team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing strategies, goals, and objectives for various projects in our growing Columbia Basin business. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering successful projects safely, on time, and on budget with high client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transition project management and engineering activities through the design to construction phase.
  • Support and provide input to development strategies, goals, and objectives specific to project execution at each project phase.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and scopes of work.
  • Prepare client and subcontractor change orders.
  • Assume financial responsibility for projects, including accurate, timely, and relevant reporting to stakeholders.
  • Monitor, control, and report on the financial performance of projects.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive construction plan and monitor progress towards goals to anticipate potential problems.
  • Coordinate work with trades, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Coach and mentor project team members.
  • Develop project staffing plans to include labor, subcontractors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Five to eight (5-8) years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction is required.
  • Experience working for a General Contractor or Major Mechanical Subcontractor preferred.
  • Proficient with scheduling software: Microsoft Project, Primavera, and/or Suretrak preferred.
  • Completed OSHA 30 class is preferred.
  • Basic estimating skills preferred.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of accounting and financial management required.
