Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Avera Laboratory. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and performing timely, accurate, and quality clinical laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate laboratory operations to ensure efficient and accurate test results.
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including blood banking, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
