Position Overview:
We are seeking a proficient F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will engage in Launch and Recovery operations while executing maintenance across all systems of the F-35 aircraft, ensuring they remain in optimal mechanical condition and are flight-ready.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for conducting all maintenance, inspections, and servicing tasks on all aircraft systems in compliance with relevant directives.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain necessary special certifications (e.g., confined space, borescope) as required.
- Execute Field-Level Modifications and Time Compliance Technical Data (TCTD) maintenance actions.
- Provide On-The-Job Training (OJT) to newly hired Interim Contract Support (ICS) team members, USAF maintainers, and international organic maintainers as needed.
- Maintain and update aircraft records and status in strict adherence to applicable directives, ensuring the aircraft production staff is informed of aircraft status.
- Possess and maintain a flightline driver's competency card, performing additional duties as assigned by production staff and leadership, with the ability to work various shifts on short notice.
- Be prepared for temporary duty assignments on short notice, while practicing good housekeeping and adhering to safety protocols.
- Must be a US Citizen, as this position is located at a facility requiring special access.
- Obtain and maintain a secret clearance, with at least an interim secret clearance to begin.

Basic Qualifications:
Three years of experience in USAF aircraft maintenance, USN or USMC fighter aircraft maintenance, or US Army Aviation helicopter maintenance technician roles.
Desired Skills:Experience with 5th Generation Fighters, Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), ejection seat tear-down/build-up, fuel systems, Low Observable (LO) repair and maintenance, weapons loading, fiber optic repair and maintenance, and avionics troubleshooting and repair. Experience in a task trainer role is also preferred.
Security Clearance Requirement:This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be US Citizens for consideration.
Work Environment:
This role requires onsite full-time work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. We support various alternate work schedules to provide flexibility to our employees.
