Key Responsibilities- Donor Eligibility
- Determine donor eligibility accurately and in a timely manner, taking into account medical history, laboratory test results, and other relevant factors.
- Manage donor deferral and notification of unsuitable test results, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Donor Safety
- Evaluate and manage donor reactions, including the execution of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
- Administer first aid to employees as needed and manage employee incidents, referring to EHS guidance as required.
- Medical Support
- Conduct pre-placement evaluation of new hires, including assessment of medical history questionnaire.
- Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees, maintaining applicable employee medical records.
- Education and Experience
- Currently licensed or certified in the state where duties will be assigned: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA).
- Minimum of two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Skills and Competencies
- Effective communication skills, detail-oriented, customer service oriented, and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and work as a team player.
