Key Responsibilities

As a senior water/wastewater process engineer, you will be responsible for all phases of municipal water/wastewater treatment process design, including conceptual and feasibility evaluations, preparation of design reports, development of contract documents, bidding assistance, and support of construction engineering services.

In addition to treatment process design, you will have hydraulic engineering experience with the planning and design of pump stations, collection systems, and distribution systems.

You will serve as a production-level project manager, assisting in project budget and work plan development and implementation.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's or Ph.D. is a plus).
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) with the ability to obtain reciprocity in Indiana or Kentucky if necessary.
  • Senior-level water resource engineering, technical, and management experience is required.
  • Ability to multi-task and direct/mentor junior engineers and staff is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills.

Compensation

Base salary ranges are as follows (commensurate with expertise, ability, and years with P.E. license), plus annual performance bonus and additional incentive pay for each hour worked in excess of the 40-hour schedule.

  • P.E. licensure 10-15 years: $120,000 to $130,000
  • P.E. licensure 15-20 years: $130,000 to $150,000
  • P.E. licensure 20+ years: $150,000 to $180,000
