Hybrid Powertrain Engineer

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Hybrid Powertrain Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hybrid systems, powertrain calibration, and controls, with a focus on electrification and hybrid vehicle performance.

Responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing hybrid powertrain systems for motorsports applications
• Calibrating and testing powertrain systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate powertrain systems with other vehicle systems
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation and reports

Requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on electrification and hybrid vehicle performance
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hybrid systems, powertrain calibration, and controls
• Strong understanding of ERS operational states and safety
• Previous experience with technical writing and reporting
• Proficiency in advanced data analysis and database management

PDS Tech Commercial offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401(k) plan.
