We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Control Technician to join our team at RoadSafe Traffic Systems. As a Traffic Control Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our workers and the general public by maintaining a safe work zone and diverting traffic as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Support Project Operations: Assist project teams as a Flagger as needed to create a safe work area.
- Set Up and Remove Traffic Control Devices: Set up and remove signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Follow all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment, including work boots, hard hat, and safety vest.
- Adhere to Company Policies: Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with contractor employees, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Manage Job Site Materials: Manage truck inventory and job site materials and paperwork.
- Complete Daily Paperwork: Complete daily paperwork accurately.
- Work in a Team Environment: Work well in a team environment.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers.
This position requires regular exposure to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, and fumes and airborne particles. The noise level of the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The position requires regular standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, and occasionally lifting and/or moving more than 50 pounds.
Requirements- Pass a Drug Test: Pass a drug test.
- Participate in Company-Sponsored Certification: Participate and pass Company Sponsored Flagger Certification.
- Excellent Attendance and Work Ethic: Excellent attendance required, dependable transportation, and good work ethic.
- Complete Required Training: Complete required TCT Training Certification within 2 months of hire date.
