Pharmacist Job Description

Actalent is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to fill a critical role in our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough prescription reviews to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Verify clinical, quality, and drug utilization reviews to ensure compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients to resolve prescription-related issues.
  • Provide education on medication use and safety to patients and families.
  • Manage prescription data and ensure accurate and timely processing.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and standards.

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in Pensacola, Florida, with a standard Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-Noon schedule.
