Avera Medical Group McGreevy- Avera Medical Group McGreevy is in search of a BE/BC pediatrician to become part of a collaborative team of 10 physicians within a thriving practice.
- Established in 1968, McGreevy Clinic became part of Avera McKennan in January 2006.
- The primary clinic is situated on the Avera McKennan campus.
- With 50 physicians across 5 specialties, the group operates 11 satellite clinics serving the surrounding communities.
- Call responsibilities are shared equally among pediatricians at a ratio of 1:11 (nursery call).
- Physicians are employed by Avera McKennan and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package.
Avera McKennan Hospital and University Health Center
- A 545-bed facility with over 600 physicians across various specialties and a workforce of 6,000 employees.
- Serves a population of approximately 800,000.
- A non-profit, Catholic institution, it serves as the regional referral center for the Avera Health System and the surrounding five-state area.
- Offers a complete range of services, including Careflight air ambulances, a Level II Trauma Center, open heart surgery, and specialized transplant programs.
- Features one of the nation’s top birthing centers, a Level III NICU with neonatologists, and a PICU with pediatric intensivists.
Avera Children's Center
- The Avera Children's team comprises over 35 pediatric specialists.
- Located on the Avera McKennan Hospital campus.
- Work alongside a skilled, multi-disciplinary team including registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, case managers, social workers, dietitians, lactation consultants, patient educators, Child Life Specialists, and Family Support Specialists.
- Dedicated to the care of infants, children, and adolescents, the Pediatric Unit, PICU, and Level III NICU have a total of 110 beds.
